A new school year begins at Morogoro International School! The new academic year at MIS has seen lots of new students, some new teachers as well as new developments on site; new bandas, painted classrooms and a new world map mural. Many thanks to the PTA and Mrs Talley for the inspiration and getting the work done.
We have 5 new teachers this academic year. Here are some snippets of information about each one.
Dr. Rama Kabelele has moved to Morogoro with his family. He has come to MIS to teach Chemistry and Maths in the secondary school. His home is in Dar but he has been trained in the UK. He is also a medical doctor which is great news.
Mr Mbughi has moved to MIS from Dar to teach Physics and Maths in the secondary school.
Ms Harriet Phippen is from the UK but has recently been teaching in Vietnam. She will be teaching Year 2 this year.
Mr and Mrs Moore are originally from South Africa but have been living in the UK for ten years. They will be teaching Year 6 and Year 1. They are living on the school site along with their 3 young children.
